DISCIPLESHIP

What kind of disciple are you? The only time I used to be a good disciple to Jesus was right after I get something I considered really special, and then the rest of the time I would treat Him like a distant cousin who I say “Hi! Hi!” to at a distance and only really talk to on Sundays in Church.

If our Discipleship and loyalty to GOD is only sparked when we receive favours, then we ought to serve Him every day we draw breath. Waking up each morning is the greatest gift: it means regardless of how we slept, we can still fly today. It is another chance of giving our best, and getting better returns. It is also another chance to savour life and make our dreams a reality. And above all, it means more time to fellowship with God and bask in His goodness and mercy.

For these reasons alone we ought to remain dedicated disciples all the days of our lives. Stand with the Saviour, follow Him, love and adore Him through thin and thick. Be the best of disciples!
