YOUR GOD
In Leviticus 19, the declaration - “I am the LORD your God” appears about 6 times, and the statement “I am the LORD” is seen at least 7 times. The LORD God Almighty is the LORD and Saviour of all the earth. Don't waste your time seeking other gods in your haste to a vague destination. In the Bible, we read of many promises and blessings for all those who have God as their LORD. Tap into this reservoir today, go to the LORD your God, obey his commandments and live life, yea, a fuller life. The LORD is your strength.

VERILY
“But verily God hath heard me; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me.” - Psalm 66:19-20
If you are reading this right now, Shout Hallelujah! God has given you eyes and access to the internet. He has made you alive and blessed you with grace and mercy even when you don't deserve it. As a matter of fact, there is no time that we are deserving of such goodness, yet we enjoy it daily.
His loving kindness towards us is boundless. Verily He continues to keep us. He hears your prayers and the Holy Spirit prays for you. If you will turn to and remain in Him; He will abide with you and His mercies, goodness and love will envelop you and be visible in all areas of your life. Yes. Verily do not forget your God.

UNTOWARD GENERATION
“...Save yourselves from this untoward generation.” - Acts 2:40
Untoward, according to the Oxford Dictionary of English means: unusual and unexpected, and usually unpleasant. Needless to say it has a lot of 'un' or negative connotations. It does not mean iconoclastic or different in a good way. In the context it is used in the Bible, it is the collective derailment of a large group of people, of a generation.
Our generation has largely departed from God. We let other things take priority and worse, some claim they do not even believe in the existence of an Almighty. I would rather believe I am beautifully and wonderfully made, than that I am the haphazard side-effect of some big bang.
Save yourself from this generation. Many things are explained in so-called logic but all such theories are full of loopholes. Look into your life and the different circumstances. Can you truly account for everything? Can you truly deny the existence of a greater one?
Jesus is waiting with His arms wide open. Why don't you go to Him now and leave the depression and solitude that not having a Saviour brings. Save yourself from this untoward generation.
“With many other words He warned them; and He pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.”” -Acts 2:40

THUS SAITH THE LORD
“...Thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.” - Exodus 9:13
What a blessing it is to be born free, without shackles! We are born free, given excellent new lives by our God but the cares of the world cause us to derail. It shackles us down and threatens to rupture our relationship with our Father. We must not allow this. We must seek liberation so we can live in the fullness of His love and mercy. We must seek liberation so we can worship our God.
Awesome God! Other minor gods and things we worship or turn to as our gods only want such obeisance that shackles us down. A god that requires you to put other people in shackles does not want your good. A god that throws you into trouble after trouble, brouhaha after brouhaha, disgrace after disgrace is not for you.
Let the Lord God Almighty be your God as it should be. Liberate yourself from dead gods. And if you seek liberation in any area of your life, look to the Lord. May He fight for you and give you the victory in every area of your life as He gave the Israelites. He has promised, He will never fail.

SAVIOUR
- “And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lord because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.” - Isaiah 19:20
God sent His Son called Jesus to save us and deliver us from every trouble. We have a personal hero in Jesus. Even before each of us alive today today was conceived, God anticipated our needs and provided for us. Now we only have to realize that we have a resource that cannot be stultified or held back. In him, we have all we need to live prosperous, abundant lives in health.
God did not just send us anyone, or an angel, He sent to us his only son whom he loves so so so so much, and this shows how much He also loves us, without our even deserving it or working for it. And this son is not just any son but a great one and a saviour capable of delivering from oppression.
One of the beautiful things about Jesus is that He has the ability and capacity to save us from every single thing and to give us the victory. To make us all victorious. All we have to do is realize it and accept Him as our personal Lord. Open your heart to Jesus today and receive the fullness of Joy only Him can give.

RIGHTEOUS
“For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; HIS countenance doth behold the upright.” - Psalm 11:7.
The LORD GOD is righteous and holy. It only follows that HE would look favorably upon those that are righteous and upright. When we are honest and obey GOD's commandments, the light of his countenance shines upon us and HE blesses us exceedingly above all that we can ask for or imagine. What fullness! What riches! What blessings!
However, we are not to take on a sanctimonious or holier-than-thou attitude. God can see into our hearts. Ecclesiastics 7:16 says: “Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?” God knows if you are faking it.
Be open, honest and righteous from henceforth and watch as the favours of the LORD overwhelm you. Remain Blessed.

QUIETNESS
“For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.” - Isaiah 30:15
Have you noticed that when there is any conflict or disease in the word, it is usually accompanied by noise and confusion? Affected people and people in the area suffer a lot from fear and insecurity. It is a terrible spot to be in. In Isaiah 30:15 the Lord offers us salvation, “quietness”, “confidence”, and “strength”.
The Lord alone gives quietness and confidence. It is easy to be moved when one is by one's self. We need God. Rest and abide in the Lord today and may He give you peace and quiet. Amen.

PERFECT!
“As for God, His way is perfect:” - Psalm 18:30.
In these days full of diseases, illnesses and calamities, who can say he or she is perfect and free from any kind of blemish? Right now, some African countries are fearful of the Ebola virus and are spreading several news on its prevention. Some say bath with salted water, others say avoid bathing with salt and yet some others say don't take a bath with soap. Fear is debilitating but ignorance is worse. It can kill. Do not be ignorant. Know that there is a good God and turn to Him now to make you perfect in the days of imperfections. Isaiah 26:3 says He will keep us in perfect peace. Yes He Will. My God shall perfect all that concerns me.

PITY
A dictionary definition of pity is “a feeing of sympathy and sadness caused by the suffering and troubles of others.”
I do not think that there is one human being who has not felt sad about his or her own circumstances at a particular time. It may be because of a bad grade on an exam, because we took ill, because we lost an opportunity or contract, because we are heartbroken or for any of many other reasons. But this is not pity.
Pity is when we sympathize or feel sad because someone else is suffering these things or in one sort of trouble or another. Pity goes beyond self. God is Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent and does not have to worry about failing an exam or what He'll eat tomorrow. Yet, He sympathizes with us. He feels our emotions. He is happy at our joy and sad at our sorrows and He helps us get through them if we allow Him.
“In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in His love and in his pity He redeemed them; and He bare them, and carried them all the days of old.” - Isaiah 63:9.
Conclusively, let everyone
also remember to show pity unto others. Proverbs 19:17 - “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will He pay him again.”

OUT OF OBSCURITY
Isaiah 29: 18 - “And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.”
The phrase “out of obscurity, out of darkness” is a very powerful group of words. It signifies a drawing out, a transferring from one end and into the light and known. Darkness, and obscurity are one extreme and for those in this corner, the only suitable place to go is the other side – The LIGHT.
In the beginning of the Bible, Genesis 1:3, God said, “Let there be light: and there was light.” God created light and light now exists. But we need to consciously move out of the obscurity of sin and apathy into the light. It is only when you move in God's way that you can truly “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
Let us not say: “...we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.” (Isaiah 59:9). Walk, in fact, LEAP over to the bright side. Come out of obscurity to Jesus and may the Lord help us and help us to help others. As for me the Lord is my light and my salvation.
“And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:” (Isaiah 58:10)

Newness of Life
"Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." - Romans 6:4
The fact that Easter was celebrated a few months ago doesn't mean we do not have access to come to Him for the forgiveness of our sins and for our salvation. When Jesus died over 2,000 years ago, he died for all the sinners, even those yet to come; that upon realizing our wrong and finding the right path we may immediately turn to Jesus without having to wait for anyone or the next celebration of Easter or Christmas. Heaven throws a celebration for every new person that comes to God.
"But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter." - Romans 7:6
So, move unto the new fresh path. Forget and leave the old one behind. Remember you cannot walk on two roads at the same time. The road that leads to Brazil for the World Cup is not the same road that leads to Australia. Know where you want to go. Then, step on the right path and enjoy the fullness and newness that will take over and restore you to greatness!

MIGHTY GOD
I welcome you back to this blog after a long break. I thank the mighty God for giving me the grace to return. “The MIGHTY God, even the Lord, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.” - Psalm 50:1
The Lord is mighty and He is able. He is more than able to fight all your battles for you, on your behalf. And He never loses.
King David was a man of war and he always depended not on his might but on the mightiness of God. When God was with David and with other people in the Bible they won. God showed his mightiness when a shepherd boy brought down a Giant.
We might feel overwhelmed or frustrated by some things that come our way. Remember today that there is a God. And that He is a mighty God.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” - Isaiah 9:6

LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH
Samson asked a question: “What is stronger
than a riddle?” Some men answered Samson’s riddle by stating: “What is stronger than a lion?” Needless to
say, lions are considered the king of all other animals. A big strong lion can
therefore defeat other animals. Revelations 5:5 states “And one of the elders
saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of
David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.”
To prevail means to be more powerful than.
He is more powerful than everything. Take whatever is proving difficult to or
for you to the Lion, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

KING
THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Need I say more? God is King, He reigns. He reigns over and above all. In former times there were no Presidents, Governors, Senators; but there were other such leaders and rulers. There were kings and all others were basically subjects. The wisest and most successful of these acknowledged that the Lord in Heaven was King over them. Even several leaders and rulers of our time acknowledge and reverence Him. How about you?
Look at creation, learn about the fascinating workings of the human body, of even a part of the human brain, watch the beauty of little creatures: ants, snails, birds; the actions of dogs, cats, monkeys and other animals and you will know that there is a King to which all bow.
Philippians 2:10: "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;" Only a King can command such authority. Truly, there is a King above us all. Last month, the world celebrated Christmas, the birth of King Jesus. In my tradition, we name a child and celebrate on the eighth day of its birth. Seven days after Christmas is the beginning of a New Year. It is no coincidence. Celebrate this year, let your passion for Christ be reignited. Love Him more than ever before and let Him be King in your life and give him charge over all that concerns you.
Praise the King. Hallelujah!!!
